One of the most fun things to do is to be playing guitar in a groove and then hit the gas pedal to take the speed to another level. The first part of the video addresses this.

And another one of the most fun things to do is to create tension during a turnaround by confidently playing notes that cause dissonance, knowing full well that all will be resolved at the start of the next progression. The second part of the video addresses this.

These licks are taken from a Grammy winning instrumental called “Cluster Pluck” where Brad Paisley, James Burton, Albert Lee, Redd Volkeart, John Jorgenson, Vince Gill, Steve Wariner, and Brent Mason trade off dizzying guitar acrobatics. You will get the style and muscle memory of 8 different country guitar legends into your own hands.

A new Cluster Pluck video will be released every month until the song is completed!

And I owe gratitude to the coolest cable company, PCNS. Treat yourself at, my stress levels were cut in half when I got rid of all of my dumb, randomly accumulated cheap cables.
